John Lockley

John Lockley is a fully initiated and ordained Sangoma (African Shaman) from the Xhosa nation, the same nation as Nelson Mandela & Desmond Tutu in South Africa. His apprenticeship took 10 years. He was one of the first modern white men in recent times after Apartheid to be awarded the title of ‘Ligqira Linkulu’ by his elders, meaning senior Sangoma. 

 

He has pioneered the bridge between modern western Psychology and traditional South African healing. His Xhosa name given by his teacher is‘Ucingolweendaba’ meaning ‘the messenger or bridge between cultures’. He is also a sangoma in the Swazi tradition and called ‘Gogo Moya’.

Vilma Pineda comes from a long line of healers in the Andes mountains of Peru. Vilma’s grandparents are renowned shamans, and she was called to this path before she was born, when lightning struck her mother while pregnant with Vilma.  She grew up surrounded by master healers, and began her path as a curandera at age 12, reading coca leaves and using her intuition to tell people how to heal themselves, often with amazing results. Kimimapii School of Shamanism

Shanon and Marv Harwood are the founders of "The Kimmapii School of Shamanism". The purpose of their school is to further the coming of the prophecy that Eagle and Condor will fly together, sharing equally in the same sky. To this end, the Harwood’s teach three different shamanic streams or pathways. These three alternate pathways all lead to the same ultimate goal of becoming one with Spirit. "Kimmapii" is a contraction of the Blackfoot phrase “Ikimmapii’ipiitsi”, the name given to our company by Spiritual Elders, Joe and Josephine Crowshoe of the Piikaani Nation. It is literally translated, “to help, to care”. In giving the name, the Crowshoes instructed the Harwoods to “help bridge the gap between people”.

Janet Piedilato is a transpersonal psychologist, a complementary health care consultant, a shamanic practitioner, and an ordained minister. She has spent a lifetime experiencing and studying the value of altered states as represented by visionary, dream, and shamanic experiences. She holds a doctorate in biology from New York University and a doctorate in transpersonal psychology from Saybrook University where Janet studied with Dr. Stanley Krippner, world-renowned dream psychologist, and Dr. Eugene Taylor, Harvard scholar and William James authority.

MARY AGNEW

Psychic medium and shamanic practitioner

Mary Agnew is an evidential medium, intuitive, and shamanic practitioner who has
worked with the spirit realm for over 20 years. Mary began her healing career as a
registered nurse working in oncology and later in the field of mental health, both of
which deepened her interest in working beyond the confines of traditional western
medicine. Though aware of the spirit world since she was a youngster, she was led
further in that direction through her intensive study with native Peruvian shamans and
realized that mediumship was another path to helping people in their healing journeys.

Mary has studied and demonstrated with world leaders in the field of mediumship,
such as Mavis Pittilla, Tony Stockwell, Lynn Probert, and others. She has been to
Peru multiple times to study shamanism with the Q’uero, the shamans of the high
Andes, and has completed training with The Four Winds as well as extensive work
with Linda Fitch and Jose Luis Herrera.

Brigid Hopkins

Artist and soul cartographer.

Brigid Hopkins is an artist and soul cartographer. Her commitment to complete responsibility for her own wholeness has led her to become an avid student of Wind Work®, Reiki, shamanism, shadow work and peri/prenatal psychology among other modalities. Brigid is in a committed apprenticeship with Mother Earth, which led her to found Impermasculptures, a devotional practice of restoring health to hurting places through the creation of earth art in a variety of bioregions. Brigid is currently the programs manager and Rene Baribeau’s personal assistant at The Practical Shaman where she supports people in partnering with the wind to move forward.
Brigid’s life is dedicated to being a channel for light language transmissions for the health and wellbeing of our planet, through land reparation work and by supporting emerging leaders individually and in guided group experiences.
